Modus operandi:

• convert your pictures into tiff format: avoid postscript! it degrades the quality
• apply a gamma correction of about 1.5
• reserve a computer (Mac, PC) at the Locke: reservations
• ftp the picture files (binary)
• open Adobe Photoshop
• open the picture file
• go to the image pulldown: image size
• switch off resampling!
• set 300 dpi
• go to page setup
• set to Locke_DS
• go to print
• switch to RGB color scheme
• switch to binary
• print (note: make sure the printer is not out of paper)
• fill out a financial form
• Note: if you want more than one plot per page proceed as follows (may not be 100% correct)
• open both files
• select 1st picture with "image select"
• go to: image/canvas size and use zoom tool to zoom out
• pick 2nd image and select all
• position the pictures with the move tool
• export to phaserprint:
• TL: Phaser 540 Plus
• DS: Phaser 440
